I realize it’s been forever since I posted anything with actual flowers.  This baby is nearly here, so don’t be surprised if it doesn’t happen again for a while!  I put this bouquet together for a local bridal expo last weekend held at the Ephraim Co-Op.

“Hulk” Hydrangea, English Garden Roses, Freesia, Ranunculas, Tulips, Eriostemon, Flax, Hanging  Amaranthus

Also, if you happen to be in the market to order a bout or corsage for Manti High School prom please be aware I will only accept orders through Wednesday March 7th.  Anyone ordering after this date will be turned away.

Worth waiting for

Tuesday, December 13th, 2011

I know I hardly blog anymore, sorry.  This bouquet was my sister-in-laws sister that I never took a picture of and then forgot about it.  When I remembered this week I couldn’t believe I have waited so long to ask for a picture.  This is probably my favorite bouquet of the year, it was seriously heavy though.  If I come along more pictures I will be sure to share them here.

Out of Practice

Dahlias, Calla Lilies, Ranunculas, Amnesia Roses, Dusty Miller, Silver Brunia, White Feathers

I am obviously out of practice when it comes to taking pictures.  I thought they were going to turn out really great but when I loaded them on the computer I was not impressed with myself.  I couldn’t even the second image to load right.  Hopefully, you get the gist.

I thought this wedding had perfect contrast.  My favorite detail that I don’t have a picture of is that the bride brought me her Mother’s veil and had me make a hairpiece out of some of the beads on the halo.  I always try to get brides to do something sentimental but usually have no takers.  I wish I had done something so thoughtful for my own wedding.

These English Garden Roses stole the spotlight!  They were so incredible, everyone who came in the door commented on them all day.  Their smell is so delicate and aromatic!

This fancy bouquet was fitted with creamy pearls and a family brooch.  The beautiful Mercury Glass vases are available through a local vendor, Quail Hollow Weddings.

English Garden Roses, Geraldine Roses, Spray Roses, Dahlias, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, Seeded Eucalyptus

Wingardium Gloriosa

Fits right? I really love Gloriosa Lilies, really, really love them. This is my totally amateur attempt to document this fun and funky bouquet. Luckily, Junelle came and took some professional pictures, I can’t wait to see them!
